Myrtus communis
Characteristics: A pale yellow or orange liquid with a clear, fresh, camphorous, sweet-herbaceous aroma similar to eucalyptus.
Blends well with: Bergamot, clary sage, clove, ginger and other spice oils, hyssop, lavandin, lavender, lime and rosemary.
Actions: Anti-catarrhal, antiseptic (urinary and pulmonary), astringent, bactericidal, balsamic, expectorant, regulator, slightly sedative.
